With the decline in daily positive COVID 19 cases, Malaysia has now entered into the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) stage, which begins from June 10th 2020 to August 31st 2020.
We can finally look decent again because barbershops, hair salons and retailed shops will be allowed to reopen during the RMCO stage. Outdoor activities such as morning and night markets will also be allowed to reopen, as well as other hobby activities such as fishing, outdoor cycling, and mountaineering.
The most exciting part for Malaysian would be domestic travel (apart from overseas travels), known as Cuti-Cuti Malaysia (Domestic tourism activities) is officially permitted after 3 months of MCO (1st Phase of Movement Control Order) period. While there are plenty of relaxation movements permitted by the government of Malaysia, Malaysian are advised to always practice hygiene, wear face masks when in public and avoid crowded places.
MCO to RMCO (18th March – 31st August), which would be a total of 170 days of isolation and self-care and counting. During the initial MCO period, many Malaysians were forced to stay indoors and restricted from outdoor activities. While they were unintentionally spread from the sun blazing rays, many are happy with their new skin glow results.
