Monteloeder receives the award for Best Bio initiative in Agri-Food by Bioval 2021

Monteloeder received on the night of the 28th the recognition for the Best Bio initiative in Agri-Food at the ‘Bio Night’ awards organized by Bioval.

The ‘Bio Night’ is an annual event of reference in the Bio sector where “talent, work well done and innovation of Valencian BIO companies are recognised”, explained Ángela Pérez, president of Bioval, during the gala.

These awards are part of the “Digital BIO” project, which aims to disseminate new advances and trends in digitalization and their possible applications in companies in the Bio sector in the Valencian Community.

Bioval is a cluster that represents companies, organisations, entities and institutions linked to biotechnology, biomedicine and bioeconomy, located in the Valencian Community (Spain).

With this recognition, Monteloeder S.L. demonstrates its commitment to contribute to the improvement of people’s health through an innovative digital approach in the dietary supplement industry by combining its own ingredients with a digital tool. This innovative solution has been named Digital Nutraceutical and is the first tool in the industry to be developed using this hybrid nutraceutical and digital strategy.

It is therefore a sector with a bright future, as Ángela Pérez pointed out: “The growth of the biotechnology sector is not transient, it is here to stay and we are going to work tirelessly to bring biotechnology and innovation to the productive and traditional sector because, as the pandemic has shown, biotechnology is a key tool for recovery, capable of providing solutions to major challenges from a cross-sectoral perspective”.

A total of seventeen companies have presented their candidatures in different categories for these awards, which aim to recognise excellence in the Bio sector in the Valencia Region. The sector currently has a turnover of 1,100 million euros and employs 7,800 people.

The event, subsidised by the Conselleria d’Economia Sostenible, Sectors Productius, Comerç i Treball (regional government of Spain) and the Ajuntament de València (local government) through València Activa VLC TechCity, was attended by the representative of Banco Santander as Gold sponsor of the BIO Night and the Bioval2021 awards, and as Silver sponsors: Asacpharma, Bioinicia, Edypro and Health and Code, together with political representatives.
