How extreme UV index affecting us daily?

According to WHO, UV Index is a measure of UV radiation ranging from zero upward. The greater the UV Index, the greater the radiation that could harm our eyes and skin with a shorter time.

Common effect of exposing to UV ray is sunburn. However, due to prolonged exposure, it may lead to skin melanoma which is a form of severe skin cancer.

Based on article by the American Cancer Society, UV ray may cause the following;

  1. Premature skin aging such as wrinkles, leathery skin, liver spots, actinic keratosis, and solar elastosis
  2. Eye problem causing the cornea to be inflamed and burned.
  3. Weakening of immune system

In Thailand, it was reported to be experiencing high UV index occurrence for the recent years. It was recorded on a daily extreme level of 11 and above. Below is the reading of the UV index in the capital of Bangkok from https://www.weatheronline.co.uk/Thailand/Bangkok/UVindex.htm for August 2021;

In Monteloeder, we are able to offer a solution to manage the negative effect of solar radiation called Nutroxsun. Nutroxsun is a clinically proven natural ingredient combination of Mediterranean rosemary and grapefruit extracts, that protects, from the inside-out, the skin from sun-induced damage. Our clinical studies that show Nutroxsun helps with the following;

  1. Improve both UVB and UVA sun radiation tolerance
  2. Help to reduce skin oxidation and inflammation
