Monteloeder's partnership with Miguel Hernandez University (UMH) began in 1998. Since then, our company has established a broad relationship with UMH that over the years has included developing innovative ingredients in the field of nutrition, carrying out in vivo trials with humans to prove the efficiency of our ingredients (botanical extracts), performing trials and tests linked to our industry, hiring well-trained staff from this university, and in summary, transferring knowledge from a first-rate academic institution to the business world, specifically Monteloeder.

Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology (IBMC in Spanish), Miguel Hernandez University

Monteloeder works closely with IBMC to carry out a wide array of research initiatives linked to the world of botanical extracts and nutrition. This partnership has resulted in formulas and ingredients such as Hypoxdermin, Cithesol and a Roselle extract, the latter which can be used to treat metabolic syndrome and diabetes. The next few years are expected to be even more successful.

Sports Research Centre, (Centro de Investigación del Deporte, CID) Miguel Hernandez University

CID is a research center that studies human movement from biological, behavioral and social perspectives. Specifically, CID’s main mission is the multidimensional analysis of the key variables in physical and sports activities as well as in sports performance. Monteloeder’s work with CID has been primarily linked to the development of PLX®, a botanical extract obtained from the Lippia citriodora plant that has shown in a number of in vivo studies its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capacity as well as its potential application in the recovery of athletes.

Universidad Católica de Murcia

We work with the Department of APPLIED SPORTS PHYSIOLOGY AND NUTRITION at the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) in the development of a formula that improves sports performance and its experimentation by performing a clinical trial and developing a mobile application that improves the consumer experience and allows end consumers to verify the effectiveness of the product they are taking.
Sports research is one of the most important values of this University, which has many experts in this field. UCAM has more than 1,500 athletes from 32 sports who play in all categories, from youth to elite levels. It also carries out studies and lines of research focused on sports.
