The last scientific evidence with MetabolAid® will be presented in the next OCC World Congress and the SFRR-Europe Annual Conference in Berlin in June 2017. This conference that focuses on Metabolic Stress and Redox Regulation counts with the participation of renowned scientists from around the world.
The work that will be presented as a poster is entitled “Hibiscus and lemon verbena polyphenols: Assessment for weight management in overweight volunteers. Appetite control and satiety” and collects the results obtained from the last clinical study performed on obese-overweight subjects having MetabolAid®, a combination of Hibiscus and lemon verbena extracts.
This research that was performed at the Miguel Hernandez University (UMH) of Elche demonstrate that daily consumption of 500 mg/day of MetabolAid® significantly increased satiety and fullness, decreasing hunger and prospective food consumption compared to placebo. In addition, the previous results obtained in another clinical trial were confirmed (weight reduction, improvement of anthropometric parameters, decrease of blood pressure and heartbeat)
